Bella, the girl with endless energy to burn, bounded down the trail in a flurry of grey and white fluff.<br />It was a grey, and cloudy day, normal for November, but a balmy 50 degrees. Most of autumn's vivid foliage has long been gone, but we spotted one tree, still sporting its glorious golden splendor. As I walked beneath it, I felt enclosed by its golden leaves, which spread like a canopy above me and a blanket below me.<br />As Mom snapped random pictures of fall porch displays an older woman opened her door and quietly but suspiciously asked, " What is your motive?"<br />Mom, startled, replied, " I'm just taking pictures of our walk. I can delete them if you want."<br />The woman responded, " No, that's okay," and closed her door.<br />We were homeward-bound, when raindrops lightly sprinkled us. Josh and I zoomed ahead, but Mom hung back to shoot more pictures. Josh said, "I'm waiting for Mom," but I DIDN'T want to get wet, so I rushed home. We were gone 2 hours. What a shock! Bella flopped down on her pillow, exhausted and dirty from her naughty jump in the pond!
